Get to know Dr. Emam

Dr. Emam has been practicing dentistry since 1992. She attended UCLA for her undergraduate studies and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from San Francisco’s University of Pacific Dental school. She completed the advanced post-graduate residency program at UOP School of Dentistry where she also was an instructor. She is very passionate about dentistry and her patients’ care. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, Zumba, yoga, and reading. She is certified in cosmetic dentistry and regularly attends continuing dental education courses to bring the most modern approaches to her dental practice. Dr. Emam uses a gentle, high-quality approach to general and cosmetic dentistry. She has been voted one of the best dentists in Palo Alto, California by Dr.Oogle and by the Stanford medical school trainees' website.

Dr. Emam established her private dental practice in Palo Alto in 2000. She employs a great team of motivated and caring professionals dedicated to helping you achieve your dental health needs. Dr. Emam has a unique, patient-centered philosophy, and you will find that our practice is not your "average" dental practice. We center our practice on prevention and health, rather than simply emphasizing emergency and restorative dental care. We are not a "drill, fill, and bill" practice. We strive to meet our patients' needs through education and advanced technology in a caring, gentle environment. We take the time with our patients and strive to create a partnership where we work together towards optimal dental health.
